    July in A Nutshell

I was guilted into making a post this week (Thanks Nancy) and here it is Friday and still no post so here it is...

    July in a nutshell:
Refi finally went through... about f'in time!
Finilized Disney plans for Aug... yeah!
Bounced a very large check... (not my fault, thanks for nothin' Wachovia bastards)
Reconnected with a very old friend (35 years since last spoken... Thanks Facebook)
    Fireworks at the beach.
Go cart races and kiddie rides at Blackbeard's Cave.
Googie gives up the night diaper for good... (she didn't want Mickey to find out).
Finished the patio deck... joints still sore from sander.
Skipped lawn mowing last week cause it was just too hot... and I didn't want to.
Filmed a "How To" video on cement sculpting a Tiki head (ToBe posted date ToBeDetermined... have you mugs even seen my last one yet? No!)
Bought a security surveilance system for my house... (so watch out all you would be hooligans!)
Haven't installed surveilance system yet so hold up your hooliganism for now all you would be Hooligans.
Went to beach with wife and kids... Did I ever mention I don't like going to the beach? Kids liked it.
Finally broke down and joined Netflicks, cause I wanted to see the 5 movies my old long lost friend has made... I know have 117 movies in Queue.
Gave myself a Flowbee haircut... cause I'm just to lazy to go get a real one lately. It's not too bad... it'll do. Vacuuming head feels good anyway.
Chickie has had 3 night terror episodes recently... Wish I could make it sound funny but there's nothing humorous about it.

Wrote this post... There you have it. There's still a week left to July there's no telling what could happen next.

Even though cutting back, thinking about doing the Netflix thing. If you have, see a movie called "Local Hero". Very what they call "fish out of water:. Loved it! It's old - '80's - but then so are we. You may have to rewind and playback in a few secnes - but believe me it is worth it. Enjoy!

Your nephew had the night terrors too, it must run in the family. Where did you find a flowbee? I thought they went out with Husker Du.

    'Bout time, Etan! ; )
I've been working on a play at community theater, so my attendance at Spaces has been pretty spotty recently; it was great to discover this update, good news and bad news, as well. The most poignant item in your list was the one about Chickie's night terrors; one of my sons had them as a little one and they DO subside in time. That's about all the hope I can offer you. Just be prepared to offer all the snuggles she needs for now. I'm pretty sure I'm up-to-date on your YouTube videos, but can't remember if I left comments for you; I'll check when leave here.
Hope this week is a good one for you and your tribe!
    *hugs*

YAY! You don't know how happy you've made me, Etan. I even got a notice from MSN. Did you really give yourself a Flowbee haircut? And how could you not like the beach? Or is it the crowds? I love the ocean ... I even dream about it. So go enjoy it for me next time. I can't wait to hear about your Disney trip. Somehow I think you will have much excitement. It is never dull with your family, or YOU.

I love Netflix. We've had it for a couple of months and have watched a ton of movies. Old, new, really really crappy. It's been great. I hope Chickie's night terrors stop, poor thing!
